Price Check Red Guy on a Blue Page - Tractor for Sale

Our subdivison is interested in selling the association tractor. It is a Ford with nameplate data as follows:

Tractor #: C688692
Model #: BS3530
Unit #: 2F04B
Engine #: 2D28A (Gasoline)
Transmission: 2D29B
Hydraulic Pump: 2D5B
Rear Axle: 2D29B
Hydraulic Lift: 2D23B

It has a hydraulic top link and a hydraulic tilt. It also has a third rear remote. From past memory - the brakes are marginal but the engine seems strong. I think everything else works but we can't find the key so I haven't been able to test it yet.

Any ideas as to year of manufacture? Any ideas as to value? We'll probably put it on e-Bay to avoid claims of nepotism. Any suggestions are appreciated.

does the camera not have a removeable memory card?

as for needing the keys.. that's nothing a 6" piece of wire with gator clips won't solve...

as for model. it's newer than I have number listings for ( handy anyway..).. sounds almost like some sort of 26XX model though..

I think it may be a 1982 2910 since they were made with both gasoline and diesel 3-cyl engines (40+ hp). A photo would sure help. The three remotes and TnT on the 3PH really means somebody was willing to spend some money on making improvements. I don't think you will find that on may tractors of that vintage. Lookin' forward to photos. . . .

Pics attached - new it isn't. The subdivision had private gravel roads when built in the 60s and the tractor was used to maintain them. The rear remotes were used to manage a Series 785A Blade (that will also be sold). The county took over the roads and paved them in the 80's. Thanks for the help.

Cosmetic it's not, but it looks like it is all there so the potential is there for a nice usable tractor.
When was it last running? The oil filter has a lot of surface rust on it so I doubt it has been changed in awhile.
The sheet metal (I didn't open all of the photos-I have dial up) from what I saw looks good however the fiberglass nose cone needs some serious work or replacement.
Too bad your community won't sell it through a sealed bid process via a couple of ads in the local papers. If that were the case and if in fact it was demonstrated as running with all systems operational I would write down $2001.00 and lick the envelope!:thumbsup:
When the time comes, do let us know what it sells for.

i think the fibreglass top piece is likrly fine.. the lower nose clip either will need lotsa work, or replacement.

i know on the early series(2000/3000 ), it's 1-piece metal and about 500$ hopefully the units with the flip top f/g you can ge tthe lower and the grill seperate.
