When i recently took out some wall board i threw it on some of the garden rows to try it out. it really kept down the weeds and after a year its all gone.

I had a bunch that I tilled up when I re-did an area of lawn. It's supposed to be better than lime but the wall board may contain some fiberglass so I'm not sure I would use it in a food area.
