Successfully dropped the backhoe off in about 10 minutes. Just hope it doesn't take too long to put it back on.
That's a pretty good time for a first attempt! After many on/off cycles with mine, I find it tends to get stuck in the subframe mounts now. And I have to chain/strap it to a tree to jerk ahead in low range until it pops free and comes free and starts sliding back out of the mounts. What sucks is that it often holds firm until I try hard enough, and then it falls
all the way off, and then I have to get it back into the mounts just so that I can drive to its actual parking spot in a shed to then take off again. Lesson: grease the crap out of the subframe slots when you put it back on.
It does generally take longer to put on, depending on how skillfully you have it stored for access and level, etc. But as long as you can back over the subframe enough to reconnect the hydraulics, you can then use the backhoe hydraulics themselves, to help maneuver it into alignment and shove itself into the mounts.
Two other things that will take some getting used to are: to start the tractor your foot has to be on the brake and sometimes finding the right spot for neutral to start up takes a couple of tries.
Wait, what? Is this a new Kioti feature? My 2019 CK3510 doesn't need to be in neutral to start. That would be a huge PIA - sorry to hear that. Maybe you can override/jumper that switch? To be honest my brake pedal switch is also flaky, usually I do need to press the brake at least a tiny bit to start, but it seems like once I've been using the machine a bit and it is warmed up, I no longer need to. If I am in the drivers seat its a no brainer to just put your foot on the brake pedal. But sometimes I start mine while standing beside it, to make a minor adjustment on the front loader or 3-pt. So usually I remember to put a hand on the brake pedal when starting, but sometimes I forget and it still starts right up, oddly.
