I see Summit recommends a VG 32 or VG 56 hydraulic oil in the owner's manual. I will be using VG 56 because of the warm climate.

Does Summit recommend a particular brand or brands, or certain additives?

Thank you

I don’t recall if I found an answer to this question when my TX25 was ready for its first service, but I went with Mobil Delvac Tractor Hydraulic Fluid.

After looking at a lot of specs on hydraulic fluids, the Delvac looks like a good choice/match based on the limited info in the manual. I was watching this the other day, which gives a lot of info.
I still would like to know if Summit has a preferred fluid.

They don't have a preferred brand. From the chart on page 50-9 of the Operators Manual it appears the oil grade VG 32 is best suited for when the tractor would be used in below freezing weather, such as snow pushing and under 80 degrees. The VG 56 would be best suited for warmer climates where the tractor isn't used in below freezing temps. Personally I've used the Traveller brand from Tractor Supply because it was readily available near me. They sell it in a 5 gallon pail and a 2 gallon jug. Get one of each and you have enough for the 6.6 gallon hydraulic fluid change.
