After trying to locate a replacement brake band. (no longer available) I have this upcomming project to rebuild brake band on my case tractor and I'm wondering as what to use to secure the brake linning to the outer metal band. The original linning was bonded to the outer band. Any suggestions???

Have you considered brass rivet's..? Here's a "how to" video replacing the lining on a Farmall Cub. Cub Tractor Brake Band Relining.wmv - YouTube You'd just need to drill the metal band. At the end of the video, it says material & rivets available at McMaster-Carr.
Depending on what's available to you locally, maybe a business like "Clutch & Joint", like we have around here, is able to reline items like that.

take it to a brake parts rebuilder, they can rebuild anything for next to nothing
