Is it a stacked valve or a monoblock valve.
If the spools do have seals on the shaft, they are there to keep dirt out.
On the stacked valves, you can replace the o-rings between the stacks.
You can't replace spools as they are a precision fit, and the bore of the valve is probably worn.
You can obtain replace valves, that will do the job if they will fit the space allowed.
