Hello everyone,
I have what I think is a fx265d. It was working fine until after I loaded and unloaded from the trailer. I bumped the drive while the front was chained and spun the wheels backwards a bit.
Now when I move the back wheels feel like they are binding like i slipped or spun something.
Any recommendations on what to check?
New to tractors.

Thanks a bunch

Welcome to TBN,,

If you have the shifter in four wheel drive, shift it into two wheel drive, and see if the issue goes away.
You might have to drive back, or forth a ways to get it out of four wheel drive,,,

2wd did not help. Kinda feels like I twisted off something.

Might try jacking rear end up and roll tires by and and also with clutch for trouble shooting.

Fireman, so far we don't have enough info. It could be as simple as a bound up brake or broken front drive shaft....or as complex as a problem with the differential.

One way I used to evaluate rear axles and differentials was to put the transmission in neutral and jack the both rears off the ground nice and level. Now rotate first one tire and then the other by hand slowly. That should cause the other wheel to move in the opposite direction. Now set the brakes on one wheel and rotate the other. This will take more effort. Are they the same? Try it the other way. Do you hear any weird noises?

Now use the hook that holds down or disengages the clutch pedal and try the moves above while you have it in gear with the clutch disengaged. Try all the gears. Does putting it in any gear make any difference?

The next step is to sit down with an exploded view of the drive train - or ask here on TBN - and see if what you are feeling from those tests makes mechanical sense.

I'll post a link to a video.
Tomorrow I'll get the whole thing in the air.

This looks a little different than the other brake setups.
