Rear tire stance adjustment

That's weird. I didn't pay extra for the tires
I thought that is the case these days... they just have not updated the manual. Do you know if that is true with turf tires too???

teg - what are you saying? That the rims used for R4 tires(industrial) do not have the provision to reverse the inner dish?? Or that R4 rims do not have separate inner dish and outer rim??

For his (and my L2800) "economy" tractors!!! It's one unit, look at his first photo, the "inner dish" is welded to the outer section. It's a solid wheel. My friend has R4 on a Grand L and his wheel is two sections, inner and outer parts that can be adjusted.

EDIT: you can see the welds in both photos...

Yes, now I see what you mean. I've been told my rims (R1 rims???) are not the correct design to support the outer bead on a R4 tire. If I wanted to go to R4 tires I would also have to get new rims. I thought about at one time but after checking the R1's are best for my needs.

Those welded rims are same as on my B26. They are at their widest and ONLY position. If you tried reversing them, the tires would hit the fenders. Only way to widen is with spacers OR replacement of the rims with two piece rims. I don't know if something like that is even available for these tractors.
