Unfortunately still waiting. My dealer believes he has found a backhoe at another location and since the one ordered for me hasn’t arrived and there is no reliable update from the factory he is trying to make this other deal work before he delivers it without the hoe.

The detent valve does spring back to center as long as you don't move it all the way to the end of travel limits.

I replied elsewhere on the form about the recent hydraulic top link installed on my tractor. I use the detent valve for this cylinder and it works great. Speed modulation of the flow is also awesome, I can creep the cylinder out or move it quickly.

I own a CT2025H delivered in Dec 2020.
I miss understood the three options and the dealer was ignorant too.
I chose the Spring Return + Detent option. Which results in one lever having no detent. The second lever has a detent with spring return. If I had to do over, I would have select both detent. I use this with a flail ditch mower. neither type "float" like the FEL bucket.

One downside to the detent is that during operation in brush or low limbs, the levers can be hit by the brush and unintentionally locked in detent (full flow).
This is an obvious noise difference and robs of HST flow - drive power/speed. Its a nusiance, nothing major.

I've gotten used to both of my remotes being Detent... actually like it that way after having spent some time using them with various implements including a grapple.

The detent lever is the one I use for my top cylinder and it does result in an accidental angle change of the 3PH occasionally.

Just bought a CT2025 HST. For the rear remote Bobcat offer the following options: both spring return, both detent, or one spring return + one detent. I had to insist to the dealer to choose mine (the later). He was not aware of the three possibilities. I found it while I was sneaking around on the Bobcat parts catalog web site.
That's correct. There are three options to get.

When I ordered mine I requested one of each as well. They told me that's the standard if someone ordered two sets of remotes without specifying.

I have a CT2025 but I used the Kioti kit to add 2 sets of remotes to the bobcat. Kit fit no problem. I ordered one spring return and one detent set.
