I'm in the process of purchasing a hydraulic tool that is rated for a working pressure of 1500-2000psi. I'm looking to plug this into one of my rear remote sets. I have not yet tested my rear remote hydraulic pressure yet but I believe it will be in the 2200-2300 psi range based on discussion with mechanic familiar with my tractor(Landini Mistral). If it is indeed higher than the tool operating pressure range how is it best to reduce this pressure to 1900-2000 psi?....Thank you, Gary

Thank you JJ that's what I was thinking might be the answer. The valve that I saw that is preset for 2000 psi is the following..... Surplus Center - WJL-50-2000 HYD RELIEF VALVE . Any difference in preset relief valves versus dial in the pressure in terms of reliability? Thank you again......Gary

No, the factory just has a set number they use for a type of valve. They usually indicate the adj psi range.
