When I bought my tractor, I had a second rear remote added (A,B). I now have 200 hrs on my tractor and never used this remote until the last 40-50 hrs when I got a Markham Grapple. It works great except when I pull the lever to the "A" position to open my grapple, the lever has about an inch of slack before it engages the valve. The lever will stop when it touches the wall behind the levers and will never fully open the valve causing the grapple to open very slowly. Before I hurt myself removing the rear tire, is there an adjustment in the linkage, etc. where I can remove the slack? There is no slack when moving it to the "B" position.

Thanks,
Steve

While I have yet to install the second remote kit on my own DK45 Cab, I can tell you that access to the linkage will require removal of the RR wheel. I was looking thru the installation instructions and while they read in typical Kioti fractured English, the gist got thru OK. The second remote is pretty much a duplicate of the primary and piggybacks on the first spool. The levers and their linkage have some degree of adjustment. Then there's always the BFH. Happy wrenching.

Hi,
If your rear tires are loaded it will be a chore to remove the tire.
It is much easier to remove the seat including the seat pan only 4-6 bolts. You can then look straight down at the linkages and fittings. Sounds like you just have to tighten a little slack.
Let us know if you run into problems.

Thanks for the help. I removed the seat and seat pan. Found a set screw loose, tightened it and all is good. Only difficult part was the seat is a bit heavy and cumbersome but that's what wives are for. "Honey, hold this seat while I tighten this screw". :)
