RK55HC
I have a RK55HC and I have asked the same question to 2 different RK employees and received 2 different answers. I hope someone here can give me a clear answer and possibly an explanation. I think I already understand the differences in the 2 remote hook ups and their uses. My question is, when I don't have anything hooked to the rear remotes, what position should the levers be in? I have noticed that when the "A" remote is in the fully rear position the FEL and 3 point hitch don't have as much power but the hydraulic pump is pretty quiet. When it's in the middle of the in the front detent, the FEL and 3 point react much quicker and have great power, but the hydraulic pump is quite a bit louder. What is the correct position when nothing is hooked to the remotes and why?

They should be in neutral with no pressure going to them......if they have pressure all the time your just putting more wear and tear on the pump and heating up the hyd oil......

Neutral being the middle position? It just seems odd that the pump would be noisier when in neutral.
