I was wondering what should be done as far as maintenance to my RFM. Are you suppose to change the gear box oil? How often? What else should you look for in maintenance?

I think the manual gives this info doesnt it? The dealer has yet to drop mine off so I couldnt say for sure. I know my snowblower manual gives lub points/intervals.

My Befco Manual states to check the gearbox level, and top off as required.
You need to grease the casters and blade spindles. I do this every 3rd or 4th mow (about 10-12 hours or use). Just look for the zerk fittings.

And, of course, sharpen the blades as required. That's once a season for me, unless I hit something.
