Has anyone ever put rear tire chains on a TC35, TC40 or TC45? I am sure I need chains but I am worried about the fender clearance.
I just orded a set from tire chains . com and haven't cut them for fit yet .
Hope Bob in VT is right and I sure will keep them tight.
On my JD with R - tires they are bumpy as heck but they are v bars.
This time I orderded the lightest ones they have for the TC40DA and hope the are not too bumpy, I have to use chains when it gets icy where I plow , because it is really steep.
Hey Bob in vt , How do they ride on asphalt ?
Is it really bumpy with the R-4s ? now I am a little worried about the ride , My little John Deere 4110 with the v-bar chains is horrible on the pavement you have to go like 2mph (if that) and it feels like you are ridding over bricks but I need the darn chains for the steep ones in the icy conditions.
I am hoping the larger tires on the New Holland will help the ride some . Anyone have any tips for a softer ride with the chains ?
