I spent some time in the shop today and turned my rear blade into a box blade. I made the mistake last year of buying a cheap rear blade and it didnt take long for the frame to crap out. The blade if fine but the frame was way to light. I built a new beefy frame with plans to eventually build an accessory for a box blade. I dont have rippers on it but if I find I need them I will make them. Most of the material I will be moving is sandy anyway. I have the blade 1 inch lower than the side. I still have to make skids for it but this is what I have so far. 5 bolts holds it together and it takes 5 minutes to install or remove.

Yeah it will definitely work just fine for what I need it to do but I highly doubt it will be as strong as an actual box blade. The best part is it didn’t cost anything. I just used materials that I have been tripping over in my shop.

Looks great, do you plan to add rippers at some point?

I like it, where do I send mine to have the same thing done to it?
