Rear axle replacement

Best way to remove axle on 2007 New holland tc30 hydrostatic

Take the rear end apart or the rear pto cover off (if it has one) to access the snap ring or external C clip that retains the axle inside the rear end. Not familiar with that make but that is usually how the axles are retained.

If tractor has a loader, remove loader and mounts first. Then support rear of tractor and drain fluid. Remove tire/wheel. Using a cherry picker type hoist to support axle assembly. Remove axle housing mounting bolts and remove from tractor. After removing assembly, stand on wheel flange using hoist for support. Then remove axle retaining nut, after bending lock tab out. Lift axle gear off and then using hoist, lift housing off axle. May I ask, why are you wanting to remove the axle?
No need to remove the 3 point cover or the PTO shaft assy.

The seal is leaking. Don’t see how I could change the seal without pulling housing.

You cannot change the seal without pulling the complete axle and housing assembly.

Rogerdogger1047, after doing a little research, you may not have to remove the loader and mounting. It doesn't appear to have a support that goes to the rear axle housing.

On tractors I'm familiar with inner seal controls oil & outer seal is merely a dust/grease seal.

No inner seal on the TC30.
