I wanted to post an update with regards to the installation of the rear 7 pole connector.
After looking around at the rear wiring harness, the wiring harness already had a female connector that would allow the addition of a male connector. I called two LS dealers to get an idea of the connector that would be needed and neither of the dealers knew anything about it. I then decided to call the LS factory in NC and after speaking with someone that was supposed to know about the connection- I was told that the connector is a standard connector that is used on all trailers.
I went down the road to the local trailer repair shop and showed them a photo of the female connector found on the wiring harness of the tractor. Not a connector that they use but was told that an automotive shop would be the best bet. They thought that the connector was something that is used in automotive wiring harnesses.
Next trip was to a NAPA distribution center- of course, they had no clue as to the connector.
Onward to an internet search on wiring harness connectors..... found a wiring harness company that did identify the connector and could send a male connector with 6 inch wires for $128.
So, Looking online some more and comparing the female connector to what I thought would mate with, I came across MX150 connectors. I ordered some wireless connectors off of ebay for $6. Once they arrived, they plugged perfectly into the female connector. Sure, I had to plug in each male connector into each of the female connections, but for the cost, I can live with that.
Here is a picture of the finished 7 pole connector within it's blue plastic electrical box.
I had to run to another tractor shop for something else to buy and saw that they had LS tractors with the 7 pole connectors already installed. They did have connectors for $38 (without the 7 pole setup). Here is the factory installed version as well.
