Actually there was cause for the war............Hillary Clinton conducted her own investigation, and 'her people'
,who were in fact Bill Clintons people, said there were WMD's(this was on national television........nobody should have missed it). But then again that was when she voted 'for' the war, 'before' she voted against it.

Please get all the facts before saying things that are incorrect.

well dont try to tell me to get the facts right because i believe bush sr and chenny and we went to war when chenny has had any kind of power we go to war so dont blame to wars on bill clinton its bush and chenny

And yes, you do appear to be part of the 90% that doesn't know all the facts with GM. Investigate a little, or change your source for news...........you'll be surprised what you find out.

I don't know if 90% don't know but it's probably a lot. Whatever it is, it's too many. That particular fact should have been drilled into the public conscience since day one of the housing bubble burst. From what I've seen toppop is well aware of this fact.

We have allowed the liberals to compromise us into this bad position we are now in and to make things worse we have allowed them to cover it up and escape responsibility for it.

And, ad Bill Clinton done his job properly in respect to bin Laden when he was cornered we would never have had the tragedy of 9/11.

He violated the end of war agreement on a daily basis. Don't get me wrong, I believe all of our young men and ladies should be home, and let them go back to eating sand.

Don, with all due respect...I'm in this business. The "force" was generally a hard encouragement. The banks didn't have to make a ton of lousy loans to meet compliance. Some took it to extremes, ie Countywide.

My bank was always in compliance and we did things based on balance sheet risk coupled with good of the community lending...We never got burnt.

Any institution that had a desire to make sub-prime loans did that on their own, and they did it very much on purpose. The yield spreads were just too good to pass up for them. Sooner or later the music stops, and it did.

CRA, Fannie, Freddie, Dodd & Frank, greedy sub-prime lenders, MBS/CDO/Securitization markets and dilusional/greedy consumers caused all of this...Can't assign a % blame, but government and the secondary markets certainly carry much of the load.

If there was no where to dump the high risk stuff, very few would have made them if they had to balance sheet that garbage. Make-and-sell provided a false sense of security..In the end something had to give..And it did.

Whodat, get a copy of Iraqi General Georges Sada's book called "******'s Secrets". The Bush administration was briefed by the General (I have personally talked to the General in person after listening to several of his presentations. He is a really nice guy).

thats not what im getting at. I just believe we should have already pulled the troops out after catching sadam. I have also talked to a General about the war also sold him a tractor. He felt the same way

You realize one of the reason of the great depression was the rapid bringing back of our troops from WWI. After coming back from the war the economy crashed because of the rapid jump in unemployment from all the troops just reappearing home the economy dropped rapidly, then being so excited to be home the bought everything they saw racking up massive debt then one December day it all crashed.

Point is that they are trying to pull troops out. It is just a process so we don't make this recession even worse with hundreds of thousands of new head looking for work.

Wow, this got way off topic. So Nissan isn't selling very many Titans and because of that the numbers are skewed showing them having a higher rate of warranty repairs that lead to Al Qaeda attacking the US and Bush getting high with Obama in 1965 where they became rocket engineers . As far as GM goes, everybody is free to choose what they think and will spend their hard earned money on. I choose to pass by all GM brands and spend elsewhere. BTW I didn't loose a cent on GM stock, I just believe that the government shouldn't pick winners and loosers. GM should have gone into bankruptcy and either been restructured or dissolved. If government's going to bail you out then what incentive does management have to make sound decisions?
