Pre-cut the board (other than a little sliver) and pack the kerf with sawdust. Then you just need to hit outside of the cut (notice that the spray of sawdust is only on one side of the blade) and the whole thing will drop straight down.
I'm sure it isn't for real but they must had had a lot of fun with the filming. Wonder how many tries it took for the guy to hit that 2x4 in roughly the right spot.
I don't think that would work with the health and safety folks:laughing: I'm thinking he would go through a lot of blades quickly, neighbors would be pissed off...
Oh, that,....that's easy. I do it all the time when I don't want to run a cord for a few simple cuts.
