Another sad thing about all of this is, more people realize this but is not doing anything about it.
It does get strong in to politics no matter how you look at it.
I was shocked to find out the "Pledge of Alegents" is no longer done in school. Appears for quite some time.

Yea, wouldn't want to offend anybody, especially if they are sucking off the system.

All of the problems in public schools have led to home schooling being a far more popular choice than it was only a short time back. A friend of mine is a salesman for a large school supply company. Until I was informed by him, I had no idea how many people were teaching children at home.

Heck, last day of school in my day... Tractors only in the parking lot. Kids drove them for miles to get to school.

Not many years ago I was denied parking in a hotel garage in DC because I had a gas can in my car trunk. I took to carrying it on long trips as a result of a temperamental gas gauge in my car.

How much fuel does it take to make a good car bomb anyway? I am sure it is more than two gallons, isn't it?

Oh, I forgot about knives. I always carried a small pocket knife with me, never knew when I'd need it. I was complemented by an older teacher one time when opening boxes for her because had a knife for the job and and every man needs to carry a knife.

Now, for many of the places I support I pat myself down before approaching the facility. Usually I leave my wallet, knife, clippers, cellphone etc in the car and carry only my state contractor's badge.

The funny thing is even when I leave all that stuff behind, I'm carrying tools which are useful as deadly weapons.

+1 A friend of mine allowed his son to use his 8000 series Deere on prom night. What a night it must have been!
