Re-purposing 1965 Pontiac GTO To 2004 Mahindra 3015

Exactly... I know I have something, I've seen it last (week/month/year) and now that I want to use it, can't find it... spend 3 hours looking for it, find 284 other things I didn't need to find, which sidetrack my thoughts for another 2 hours, makes me dream up 63 new projects, none of which have anything to do with what I started out to do, and now I've got to explain to wifey why I spent all day in the barn and haven't even got started on what I set out to do... and the sad thing is... I'm still "young"-ish.

I have seen a lot of stuff on You Tube. A GTO wearing chains, throwing a rooster tail of sparks is something I have yet to see. Then the chain lets go and rips off the rear fender! lol YES, something to see!

Yep, back when we didn't have bare roads during a storm, the old plow trucks would get around when they could and if you wanted or needed to be out and about it was your responsibility and not the town, county or states. Everyone I knew had some chains available, and at times they wouldn't be enough and you would still get stuck high centered and tires not touching the ground.

That is the way it should be. On the other hand, taxes are so high, and for mostly garbage, and I'm talking the teachers and Police salaries, not garbage, garbage, so we might as well expect something.

Around here, guys got to get around to check and feed cattle. We can't fiddle around and wait on the county. We just open the road ourselves. By the time the comity gets to us it is a good will gesture and a waste of fuel and tax dollars. In 2009-2010 we got snow, snow, and more snow. I was sitting on a boat load of hay. We were my place as a central location for a hay source.
Guys were opening roads with tractors, busting drifts with front end loaders and what not. One of the neighbors has a d-6 dozer. We got a couple roads that drift real bad and he opened them with his dozer. I got an 8 ft blade and loader on my allis. I've chained it up and Had my wife follow me as I plow her a way out to the state highway. That is just the way we do it here.
