I have searched for this but haven't been able to find out if there are mulching blades for the RCK60-29B. I have seen mulching blades for the bx models but not for the B. Would appreciate anyone who knows if there are mulching blades available for the RCK60-29B

I know I couldn't get mulching blades from Kubota for the 54 inch deck on my B2620.I ended up getting mulching blades for a 54 inch BX fine cut deck and enlarging the center holes to work on the B deck.I didn't try the aftermarket.

Thanks, yeah I think I saw your post when I was searching for the mulching blades. When I go to the jackssmallengines.com website and find gator blades it does have the correct part # for replacing the blades when I match it up to the part # from Messicks website however it says the hole is 1 1/8 in and I had to use a 1 3/16 in to take the blades off. I have been told the bolts are metric though and either 30mm or 31mm but I only had the SAE socket which worked and the 1 1/8 in socket is too small.
So I guess gator blades doesn't make mulching blades for RCK60-29b?

Anyone else with a Kubota b2920 and 60" MMM who has mulcher blades?

When they say the hole is 1 1/8, that is the size of the spindle that hangs down that the blade mounts upon. It has nothing to do with the size of the wrench it takes to tighten the bolt. I believe my BX spindle is something like 13/16 inch (I forget the metric measurement), but it takes the 31mm wrench.

Ok thanks, I'll probably try them if that is the case.

Ray is right, they are refer to the center hole. I would take a blade off the deck on measure it to be sure before ordering the blades.

I got the gator g3 blades and plan to try them out soon. They seem to fit right but I did have a hard time torquing them on. I am able to torque the original blades with torque wrench easily. With gator blades I got to a certain torque and the PTO/drive elf start spinning not allowing bolt to be further tightened. I was able to further torque the bolts by using a wrench on the opposite side of the deck on a bolt to keep PTO/driveshaft from spinning. Any idea why they would be harder to torque on? A little worried they will cause damage to deck when cutting. Anyone else had something like this happen?

Blades usually want to turn when you torque them.

Yes but what happened with the gator blades was the PTO/drive belt would turn while the blades were blocked by wood block and foot. This is a strange question I guess

Hopefully it is no big deal since I was able to torque them up to proper amount even though I had to use the wrench on opposite side to keep PTO shaft from spinning and didn't have to do that with original blades

When you run the nut up it will probably trun everything til it hits the blades and gets a little drag on it.
