Okay… I officially hate FEDEX now. Haven’t been a fan for quite some time but now I am going to publicly bash them.

Returning anything with Li batteries is a pain in the butt with them. No problem UPS. I have to arrange for pick up or drive to 50min to one of their ‘Worldwide’ centers. Why on earth cannot their local centers handle it. I can pick up batteries there but not return them. BS.

That's getting to be a PITA. Fedex seems to be the worst on all counts, I am ALMOST ready to tell vendors that if they use that service I will cancel the order. I had to do that for several years with UPS. That was about 20 years ago, thankfully they seem to have worked through whatever problems they had.
I have had good service from UPS and USPS. I’ve had the same experience as you with FedEx. They have mis-delivered and lost so many of my packages even though my road number is clearly visible at the end of my road. I have several times told vendors that I won’t buy from them if they ship to me with FedEx.

My father worked for FedEx for many years. When he worked there, they were indeed the "tightest ship in the shipping business". Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I dread having stuff delivered FedEx as well.

Yes, I'm not too wild about FedEx ground either. FdeEx air is a different story. FedEx is merging the air and ground divisions. It will be interesting to see which culture wins out...

I took a package into a small printing place that doubled as a fedex shipping office. The lady at the counter didn't know the fedex software well and needed to ask someone else. Then the computer locked up and "needed to rebooted". Then they needed to have the "computer guy" look at it. Then they asked me to step out of line until they figured it out. Finally they got the software working but misspelled the street. I caught that fortunately. I think it was 30 minutes before I got out of there.

I had a similar experience with FedEx returning a StarLink dish at a Dollar General store. I didn’t trust their know-how so I took a bunch of phone pictures as proof of return if needed.

UPS, not my usual guy, saw the sign not to place packages by the road/mailbox.
So he put it right behind the mailbox.....so behind the sign instead of in front of it.

Need to make a sign that says go to house, its not that far....??
