We have had the Ranger Crew for a couple weeks now. We worked cattle weekend, and it has gotten some general use.
Likes:
The Rangerware stuff rocks.
Rear lights - we ran out of daylight. Those 2 rear lights helped us get the last 2 cows done. Lit up the entire chute, etc.
Roomy - this thing has all kinds of leg room, wide, etc.
Storage - all kinds of wonderful storage area.
Sounds mean - almost like a diesel
Can start in drive, just put your foot on the brake.
Parking brake - limits the engine (wont go anywhere with it on - gator will)
Dislikes:
Gas pedal position - requires too much of an angle with my foot - not as natural as my Gator.
Plastic bed sucks - needed to change a blade out - couldn't do it on the ranger - walked over to the gator and pushed against it's bed.
Overall - we love it. It is the only real option out there for people that need room for more than 2-3 people. Polaris builds one heck of a machine. If my Gator handgrenades - I might just have to get another Ranger.
