RAM 3500 Question

Nice looking truck. It looks like you have the tow mirrors. You know those flip up and out? An amazing number of people have those mirrors and don't know they flip for towing.

This is a truck I've been watching at cumminsforum.com. He lives too far away from me to buy it. It's a 5.9, which doesn't have any of the emission regulations.

I've sent him messages and he's willing to negotiate to sell his truck. Distance keeps me away, but might be worth it to someone else.

I could see that they would, but I haven't had a chance to check out all of the goodies just yet.

If they are like my mirrors, you just grab the lower inside corner and pull up and then they pivot out. Just about the coolest thing since sliced bread.

It happened to me! When I bought my 04.5 flatbed, I towed for a week before I found out that they flipped out. I was looking for tow mirrors all over the web and they all looked like mine. I was thinking...what the....? :laughing:

About the mirrors, even cooler than the fact that they flip out.....

They automatically know which way is up/down and left/right when adjusting too:thumbsup:

I never thought about that but you're correct, the left and right adjustment become the up and down adjustments and vice versa.
