Our official September number was 8.09" vs an average of 6.10". We get crazy swings where one area might get 15" and the official number (I assume at the airport) gets half...

Our September was 1.2". August was 1.25".

Last rainfall here was September 17. We are under a burn ban for about a week now. A burn ban here has normally been very rare. We did have an extended ban last year.

Still fairly hot too, but dewpoints have been down. Highs in the high 80's for the coming week.

There was about .1 inch in August and a few sprinkles but other than that the last rain here in CA was in May. It usually starts raining again for real in November or sometimes December.

We received 2.6” of rain over the weekend. Due to a Pacific cold front. A nice change to our fall dry period.

Not a drop of rain for over a month. Slightly higher temps through Oct.
Ground is cracked open lots of places. All tanks down 3' but not dry.
Mow and eat dust with open station. Regrade/freshen gravel drives and
eat dust with open station (box blade only fits my smaller tractor).
Anyway, weather lady says we may get 1 -2" Wed night into Thurs.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Here comes our fall rains. All the field grass is starting to green up again.

I understand that things are quite dry in the southern part of my state, but the ground is still somewhat soggy here from all the rain we had this past summer. There's a seasonal brook that passes thru my property that's usually dried up by mid-July, this year it's been flowing constantly. There's one section I usually bush-hog in the fall, but it's too wet there this year.
