rain cap on exhaust

i put this on exhaust instead of curve

Mark, a number of our members have said in the past that they didn't like those caps because of the rattling noise, but I had one on my B7100 Kubota and I'd probably put one on any tractor of mine that had the vertical exhaust.

hi bird and thanks for your reply, this exhaust had a curve to it on the end, i cut the curve out and put the rain cap on, when running i don't notice a rattle, maybe the pipes to small to make much noise??

Mark, those usually tend to rattle at an idle, but at working speeds the exhaust is usually blowing hard enough to keep them firmly open. At least that's been my experience.

I think they're an excellent idea for vertical exhausts. It seems to make the pipes last a lot longer. What's a little rattling anyway!
