This vid came in on my feed the other day. Since I am a child of the diesel era, it was of interest to me. Pretty decent quality for the time, somewhere around 1975. Love seeing the old names that no longer exist. Anyone from KCMO would recognize the yards, West Bottoms, Union Station, North Kansas City.

Have not checked the engine numbers from the video, but there are some KC Terminal EMD SW 1200's like this one I photographed running in an alley in 1992.

Some of those old SWs are over 70 years old and still in use.

We were using the crossing to carry fallen tree logs across the tracks when they showed up.

Yes. White Pass recently bought 6 new much larger and more powerful diesel locomotives. Four other of their surplussed diesel locomotives were bought by the Durango & Silverton.
