R4047 with Error Code B36

Hi Folks,

I have a R4047 that just threw a B36 error code. I'm not able to find a description for that one and the local dealer hadn't run into it before. Does anyone know what that error code indicates?

My tractor is different than yours. But I was hoping that maybe the codes were similar. I looked up my manual and did not see your error code.

Is the tractor behaving differently? Do you have a scan tool?

Behavior is the same as best I can tell - no issues with forward/reverse shifting via the shuttle or movement; just the B36 and beeping. B35 is the last entry in the manual which is the reason for reaching out here. I do not have a scanner so a trip to Harbor Freight may be in order.

Not all scan tools are the same. I have a really expensive scan tool (that I honestly never use) and the Blue Driver scan tool (which is my go to for all my vehicles). Both of those dont work for my tractor. I had to buy a $10 tool to read the codes from my tractor. :confused3:

Its called Torque. I think there is a lite version (called Torque Lite) that is free. I dont remember what the price tag was on the paid version, but it wasnt horrible. Works well!

I believe it is a tm speed sensor (for the transmission if I recall correctly?) ... had to do with the ez shift - I do remember there was a recall for some ez shift issues but not sure if this was one of them?
