R4041H Engine Thermostat

Hey Guys
Anybody know what Thermostat LS puts in the R404H Engines? mine seams to be running very cold ! I removed the screen on front of the Rad and put some cardboard instead it did helped a bit but I can put my hand on the top Rad hose and it's still not very warm.

The Temp here now is about 20F (with lots os snow the last three days about 14'')

Is the needle on your gauge moving up? It's about 15* F here, and I just finished plowing for 1.5 hrs and my temp gauge comes up in the operating range.

The needle is about 1/4 from dead cold after running it for 1.5 to 2 hours.I'm used to equipment coming up to temp where you can barely hold your hand on the return hose.
A cold running Diesel is not very good for them also the Rad hose heater warms the engine more then the working engine ?
