I just looked at it, and I can give you a comparison to Pat's just from what I see.

I have Pat's, and like the way the implement pins click into it. On the one on Ebay, it looks as though there's more work to getting the pins in. With Pat's they just snap into place and there is a spring on it. Looks like you have to remove the pin on this before you can click in the implement.

I like the way the one on Ebay latches onto the hitch arm by going through the socket ball. That may be better than Pat's, but the one on Ebay doesn't LOOK all that well made compared to Pat's.

The hook looks much wider, and on some captured pin type implements, I wonder if it would fit in between the side pieces to capture the pin.

Not sure if you know what I mean by captured pin, but they're the ones that have a piece of metal on each side where you attach to the pin. The other types, non-captured just have the pin sticking out without a piece of metal on either side.

I am surprized that "Pats" system does not attach using the hole in the lift arm how is it held on? My biggest fear about the item in question that it is chinese junk, the hooking up
part would not be a problem because I need to attach the top link, I do not want to be cheap but I do not see $180 in the other system am I missing something?

I can say with certainty that you won't be wasting $180 with the Pats system. I agree that it seems like a lot of money for what you are getting, but it works. Plain and simple. I've had mine over a year and wish I would have bought it sooner.

They send you all the things you need, you bolt it on after slipping it over the hitch arm ends.

I put mine on a couple of years ago, and I've never taken them off. They appear to made of good steel. The picture on Ebay looks like cheap stuff to me, but maybe it's just because of the photo.
I haven't found the Chinese steel to be anywhere near as good as what we used to make here in the US. My tractor dealer was telling me today that the best steel in the world appears to be coming out of Brazil, the influence of all the german engineers that ended up there after the war, maybe?

Looks like they would still make your hook up a lot less trying, but it's a crap shoot as much of the stuff on Ebay is.

I have Pat's system.. am very pleased. It DOES slip over the lift arm balls... and a pin goes thru those balls to hold it on... along with some adjustment nuts to get all the angles set right... it fits on just about any lift arm, best I can tell.. have never heard of somebody getting Pat's system and discovering that it didn't fit.

It's not junk. He makes it. It is well made. And, he stands behind it. Be aware that it comes in all category sizes... but TBN only sells the Cat I size... gotta get it from Pat if you want a Cat II, which I did.

I worried over the cost for a while.. then realized that I was dreading changing implements in some situations because of the difficulty in attaching some that I have.... Pat's solved that problem. I no longer dread changing implements... and do so sometimes several times a day...

If you don't change implements often, you may not need a quick change system. If you do, Pat's really helps.

I'm glad you said that. It's been so long since I put mine on, I didn't remember doing that. I did remember using the nuts to get the angles right, but when I saw the one on Ebay, it doesn't look like the same pin through the sockets.
Thanks for refreshing my memory!

Oh, and some other things you get with Pat's are spacers, and some L-shaped "washers" that go on the implement pin between the implement and the Lynch pin which helps protect the lynch pin from damage. I've managed to lose most of mine, so I'll call Pat's to get some more.

A friend of mine found a hitch system on Harbor Freight. For under 100 dollars. I seareched online here at TBN and found an older post about them and the stock number even worked on Harbor Freight site. The price is 69.99. Anyway My friend tells me its backordered.I ordered one just the same. I figure if it isnt much good, it can be adapted to something else.
I was wondering if anyone had some feedback on this, maybe they have one and use it,or had troubles.
I know the quality isnt as good as the more expensive ones. But I can live with that with my uses.Ill try to adda link to the hitch
Thanks.

I can tell you now just from the picture that you're going to have to have the same width implement pins or they're not going on that hitch because it isn't adjustable.

I have a few things that require me to narrow the width, landscape rake, boom pole for two, because they're not as wide as the rotary cutter, box blade etc. If you can't adjust the width, you would need to modify the implements or hitch.

That's a major reason I like my Pat's EZ Change. They just ride on the arm ends, the arms adjust.

I was just at TSC - they have a KK model for ~ $ 200.

What gives?

I think (I'll go check) that all my 3PH stuff is 26" across...

You do have to put a little collar (with ears) on the lynch pins of all your 3PH stuff in order to use it, but it looks like once yer set up, it's a snap to use / switch between any and all...

Good buy? Yes or no?
