I just bought an old Woods 4 ft rotary cutter to use behind my Deere 4200 tractor. When I lifted it up off the ground the rear tire barely came off the ground...its as if the whole geometry of the 3 point locations is wrong. I'm wondering if this is a category 0 hitch arrangement. The lift arms fit the pins okay, but I had to bring them in more than usual, and the centerlink pin was too big.

I also need a new pto shaft for it...does anyone have a recommendation on where to buy a good quality one at good price? Northern Hydraulics has one for $90...how is the quality?

Thanks!

Brent

For some reason my original post doesn't show up in the new posts area, so I'm sending an update to see if that posts. I wound up buying a pto shaft from Agri Supply for $64. still trying to figure out how to go from 1" shaft up to 1-3/8" pto yoke...it seems to be a special bushing from Woods that costs over $100. It didn't look like the existing shaft had a shear pin-it was keyed direct from yoke to shaft.
