Kubota B2650HSTC
I just received my new B2650HSTC (1.7 hours). The noise from the hydro system is unbelievably loud (low-mid-hi range), I mean you could hear this thing a mile away. I previously owned a L5030HSTC and the hydro noise was very low. I will be contacting the dealer but I wanted to hear what other owners have to say.

Like Sandyc said...is the brake on. More than once I've driven of with the brake pedal latched..Mine (B2650HSDC) makes a lot of noise until the hydro tranny warms up. I note that you have only 1.7 hours and presumably the dealer put some on before delivery..Give it a good workout to warm things up and see if the hydro whine diminishes once the transmission is hot...mine does.

I am positive the brake is not on. This thing is so loud I have to use noise cancelling headphones.

Could it be air in the hst? I would get the dealer involved asap

Only time my hydro is loud is in hi range. Low and mid are fairly quiet, though mid can get a little loud trying to push it a little too hard.

I'm not sure if these work like a riding mower transmission - but idle the motor down and put it in neutral. Slowly work the pedal from full forward to full reverse, holding it at the full point for 5-10 second periods. Do this a half dozen times or so, should purge the trans...... IF these work the same as a riding mower. Shift back into range and see how it sounds. Pretty sure that's not going to hurt anything doing that, worth a shot. That's all I got for ya.

Is it brand new? I would try one out and the dealer to see difference then I would check to make sure it has sudt2 fluid

My 2620 "howls" when you lug it in high range. When that happens I either switch to a lower range or let off on the go pedal

As a follow up, my 3350 howls louder thn the 2620. I think it is the cab that captures the sound and amplifies it. Blowing and plowing snow next winter is going to be worth it with a cab that is warm. Guess I'll just turn the music up louder.

Thanks for all the replies. The dealer has picked up the unit to look at it. I will let you know what they find out.
