Questions about 3016.

I have a 2011 3016 and after cleaning the fuel filter it is now dripping. No matter how tight I get it it still drips. Any ideas? Also, when cleaning it it had what looked like brown tar balls or something in it. Any ideas what that was? Last question. How do you drain the tank on these tractors? It acts like the fuel is bad because after running for a while it acts like it is starving for fuel. Thanks,

Do you use a fuel additive?

How long has the fuel been in the tank?

You will need to replace the filter, cleaning it will not do much good. Also get a new oring , that should take care of the leak.

It is the original filter that came with the tractor. It only has 61 hours. I did use an additive but the fuel has been in the tank since last year. How many orings are in the fuel filter? Is there more than the small black one in the center?

There are two "O" rings; the larger-one fits the bowl and the smaller one fits the plunger.

They do not come w/the filter; bought separately.
