This is a stupid question, but I figured it would be even worse not asking it. Ok, Just a couple of weeks ago I purchased a New Holland TC29D. Im still in the process of studying the manual, so that I can be ready for the 50 hour. But im confused about something. First question: Is hydraulic fluid the SAME thing as Hydrostatic tranny fluid? Second question: Does my FEL operate on the same fluid as my transmission? How about the three point hitch? So far I have about 10 hours on it and I am of course checking my fluids, and on the back of the tractor by the TPH, there is a dipstick and a filler cap. Its looking a little low. I know this is the transmission fluid level check but when I fill that back up, am I also taking care of the fluid for the FEL and for the three point hitch? Thanks! (Im still learning!)
