I have a quick question for everyone out there, I recently traded my 2320 in on a 3032E I ended up with a deal on a used one with only 34 hours and only 6 months old so part of the deal was for the dealer to go ahead and do the 50 hour service so they did prior to delivery. I have had it for about two weeks now really got some good work done moving 40 tons of stone and spreading on my drive way along with boxing and dragging it worked great!!!! So yesterday while it rained I was in the garage doing some PM work on the 3032E basic stuff like greasing and checking over everything since I put the first 10 hours on it to my SUPRISE when checking the oil in the front axle it was not even on the stick very low if any is in there. The tractor stays in the garage on a concrete floor no noted fluid on the floor. My question is what type lub goes in the front end and how much????? I do plan on calling the dealer about this due the fact it only has 10 hours since the 50 hour service and possible damage which I do not think it has but still want it noted in case down the road problems should arise on the front end.

The front axle uses HyGard transmission fluid. It can be either lo viscosity or regular. Be sure to recheck oil level after it sits for an hour. This allows oil time to flow into drop housings at front wheels. Hopefully the oil level is not low enough to have caused any damage. Be sure it is actualy low. The oil is so clear, it is someimes difficult to see on the dipstick.

Thanks, I finally was able to get on deere web site and look up the owners manual so I could check it since they have not given me one for mine yet due to the fact it was used so they ordered me a new one , I have some some HyGard Low vesc. so I will add a little, I spoke to John Deere mechanic and he stated that after the 50 hour service where they drain and change all fluids that after working it a little bit that the oil will start to settle into the lower aspects and normally you will have to add but I must say you here negative aspects about the E's due to being a basic it model but from my experince thus far it is a tough machine.
