I noticed in your profile you have something about a lawn roller made from the PT lawn aerator. Do you have any pics and some more info on this?

I cut the teeth off of the PT spike aerator with the 4 inch grinder. I hated to do it, but as I understand it a spike aerator really does no good and some say it does harm. I will try and take some pictures tomorrow. It's not a pretty sight as there are still stubbs.

I bought a plug aerator from Lowes and pull it behind my mower.

I have attached some pictures below. I cannot really give you a report of its effectiveness sinch I have not used it much (once).

This took several hours to grind on the spikes. I bet PT would sell you one without spikes and might even charge you less.

Bob, I noticed that there is a plug on the side. Is that for water and did you use water with it when it was an aerator or as a roller?

Yes it is for water. I use water most of the time for aerating and roller. Sometimes I will push down on the roller and have it pickup the front end of the PT. It's a little hard to steer, but it still works.
