Question about my tiller?

Ok I've got a 4 ft till that has a strange point set up on it. It came with the yanmar ym177 my dad got many years ago and I'm wondering if it could be converted to standard 3 point and also would like to know the brand of tiller..? Here are the pics of it.

it's a standard 2pt tiller. I have had a couple changed to 3pt. it looks like a yanmar tiller.
If it spins ok, I would bet that it works fine.

Ok thanks for the info.. Yeah it worked great when we set it.. Now what about the pto size (will it match up to other small tractors?)

The shaft coming out of the tiller gear box for the PTO will probably not be standard PTO size. My 2pt tiller has a smaller diameter fine pitch higher number of splines and there is no retaining groove. There probably is an adapter that you could put on and lock down with set screws. Every PTO shaft has to have a way to shorten and lengthen as the implement is raised and lowered, these use the input shaft of the tiller and a very short special pto shaft.

There have been several threads in the past about those who have converted these kinds of tillers to do 3pt duty. A search will undoubtedly turn them up. :laughing:
