My Steiner has pins with no grease fittings or anything to stop the pins from rolling inside the mount holes. Therefore, obviously likely to wear the holes lose. Does anyone think that a grade 8 bolt with a nylon lock nut would work without rolling when lifting a heavy load?

Thanks for reading,
Josh

I have no idea if the bolt grade will impact rolling/not rolling but.... My previous tractor had 5500 hours on it when traded in and the non-lubed FEL pin holes had not shown any signs of rounding out yet.

My 60 year old Ferguson loader had no sign of wear on the pins. The bushings were another story.

Thats amazing. Those holes must be polished, or become polished from the movement? I'll keep that in mind oosik and also about the bushings, old pilgrim.
Thankyou
