Question about hydrualic flow on CK20S

Hi all,

I am working on a log splitter project and would like to know how much hydraulic flow is available at the rear remotes of a CK20S? The tractor spec is "7.66 GPM total flow" but is it realistic to see that much flow at the remotes? I obviously wouldn't be using any other circuits at the same time. Does the tractor have one hydraulic pump or two?

Total pump flow is 7.66 GPMs. according to the specs. The PS pump develops something. Specs didn't say how much.

The CK20S is a single chamber pump. The power steering is controlled by a priority valve. Steering always takes priority when asked to. Otherwise, total pump flow is available at the remotes.

No, the CK20S is the only current KIOTI tractor with a single chamber pump / priority valve system. All others have tandem pumps, with one chamber dedicated to steering flow.

Thanks for the great info! How about my 2006 CK20HST, I believe they listed two different pump flow numbers for steering and hydraulics, is mine a "tandem" style pump?

The CK20 has a single chamber pump with a priority flow divider valve for the power steering, similar to the CK20S.

Priority flow to the steering system is 1.58gpm, on demand.

Should not have any problems with running a splitter. I have one hooked up to mine and works great, from northern tool.
