Putting in 4wd

what model do you have? I can't begin to tell you what it could be but I know with many 4wd vehicles sometimes putting it in reverse for a bit lines stuff up. If you are having that much trouble though something might be broken or misaligned or a bad sensor of some sort? Tell us what tractor you have.

it's a 6500 mahindra, I will try the reverse thing tonight and see if that works.

Somtimes on my 6520, I have to straighten the front wheels and either drive forward a little or in reverse a few feet.

Found the problem, the spline adaptor(connects the gear box with the shaft) lost its set screw and had slide forword. Thanks for all the advise and look forword to tractor time.
