Probably gonna get some flak for welding shackle points to the bucket. But wanted to share anyway.

Looks good, and hooks/shackles are always a very handy and useful add-on to a FEL bucket.

Looks great, Gunny! I may have to borrow that idea for mine as well.

Looks really good. Nice job. I am a fan of welded on.

Shackles are great! A guy can't have enough of them. They are also easy on slings, straps and rope.

Great idea, I've been hooking my chains to the back of the bucket... this would make life easier.

I don’t see the desire for shackles. On the rare occasion I need a chain I almost always need it shorter than it is. I weld hooks on every bucket I’ve had. I did weld a D ring in the middle of the bucket to hook a rope if I ever needed to. IMG_8368.JPG

I have hooks, but I suppose if you have shackles, you can always attach hook to them if you so desire.

Nice Weld!! I have experienced the loss of too many shackle bolts due to hours of vibration: Suggest a good tight bolt with Locktite and extra vigilante inspection over the coming years.....

The shackles came from an old swing set / playground set. The idea was to use them to swap out shackles for hooks when or if needed.
