Has anyone used this stuff? Purple Ice® – Radiator Coolant Additive - Royal Purple

I had an over heating bran spanking new GM 3500 dually that was cured by using something similar. Dealer said overheating is NORMAL on a DURAJUNK.

Good advice thank you, but with the temps above 100 not too much snow here.

I used it for years in my racecar (sponsorship so it was free), but only becasue I used pure water vice antifreeze (not fun having to clean antifreeze from your car when you have a leak and due to the fact I changed motors frequently). I am not sure I could tell any better cooling than pure water. Antifreeze mixed with water is the best thing out there for motor vehicles due ot the effective elavated boil temperature of the combination. I believe if you read the fine print, mixing the "ice" stuff in with antifreeze lowers the effective properties of the "ice" a little.
