I think chicken will pick at about any vegetable. I have given a buddy anything from sunflowers, beets to over matured cabbage and they scarf it all up. He said cabbage is most entertaining as he hangs a head from a small rope with a small lag screw ran in it. They'll pick at it and get it swinging. they will get in a circle around it and when it swings their way, they'll peck at it. Doesn't take much to entertain some of us.
