Pump Modifications....?

Has anyone been into/modified the hydraulic or fuel injection pumps on a 3510 (A1700 IDI motor)?

Are there any modifications that can edge out a few more psi on either of these pumps? I'm just curious, I don't even have mine in the garage yet and probably don't need to do anything period; however, if the situaion arises that I need some extra umph I may need to modify.

I wouldn't mess with it, To gain a few HP by increasing the rpms, You will reduce the longevity of the motor and probably void the warranty
