Nice.
May I ask where in Texas you are? Dealer?

Your investment sounds VERY close to what I think I'll be looking for .

Yeah, it was Dean Kubota in Forney. They have a Wills Point location too. Highly recommend.

I need up with an L2501 too, and that is not what I started shopping for. It's been good for me, put about 17 hours on it over the past month and a half.

ok thanks, thought maybe you went to Tyler. No matter, I got an idea of what to expect if I go that way.
Be interested to see how that Grapple suits you.
I have a lot of underbrush and Youpon to care for.

That's a nice machine and will definitely earn it's keep. You will appreciate the CC, and as others have suggested wear a decent set of hearing protection.
Another purchase which will pay for itself is the Kubota shop manual; it will cost you about a hundred bucks and some change but will prove invaluable if you plan to keep the tractor for a great period of time.

I've got 200 hours on my L2501 and it's been a good machine. Just be prepared for some exhaust fumes from time to time. They aren't clean burning engines by any means.

Well there it is - took delivery yesterday. With the fluid in the rears and the upgraded box blade on the back (about 430 lbs), tires stayed fully intact with the ground while lifting a full bucket of sandy gravel (about as much as the loader would lift). I was a little annoyed that the shipping container arrived so late in the day, but happy I had the tractor to level out the spot ahead of time. I spend half the day waiting around and shoveling leaves and dirt from the shipping container area and it still wasn't done. One pass with the box blade (second box blade pass of my life) and it was done.

I was feeling a little guilty on my last minute quick hitch add-on. After swapping out the cutter and box blade and then doing it again to load everything into the shipping container for the night, I don't regret it at all. Also glad to have the 60 inch wide grapple rather than something narrower. The rotary cutter is a beast - glad I didn't go with the bottom tier cutter. Have a Piranha Tooth Bar on its way.

I remember thinking that I might not get much work out of lights on the tractor......Well, after the shipping container showed up at dusk, I was working in pitch black to build a ramp to drive into the container and pick up and store the implements. Lights worked pretty good!
