On the tach of my new tractor, the pto 540 seems to be much lower on the rpm then my old tractor. Is that possible? Are pto independent?

PTO speed is set by gearing, at the factory. It is different for all tractors.

540 on the PTO is 540, just run the engine where it needs to be.
