I was tilling with my TC55DA, when the tiller stopped, I raised the tiller up and it started spinning again, I put it back down and went a little and it quit spinning again. Is there some thing wrong with my pto clutch?

Is the PTO engaged completely? My massey will spin a little if I almost put it in gear but will have no power. Ed

Dos the PTO shaft stop spinning or just the tiller?

When it stops spinning, is your tractor pto still spinning? If yes, does the tiller have a shear pin or slip clutch? Check them.

I posted this response to your other post with this same question:

"Was the PTO shaft from the tractor spinning, but the tiller was not? It can look like the tractor PTO is not spinning because the shield is not. Do you have a slip clutch on the tiller? More than likely, the shaft is spinning inside the shield, and the slip clutch on the tiller is slipping. Readjust that per instructions."

I think your slip clutch on your tiller is just too loose. Mine does the same if it's set up a little too light.
