Is there some place to pick these up at a reasonable price? These are ridiculously expensive everywhere I've seen them. These things can't have more than $10 worth of steel in them but they easy go for $100-200 depending on the length and beefiness. Seems like a whole lot to spend on a tube with a yoke on each end.

www.northerntool.com has a reasonable selection of pto drives of different lengths and yoke configurations and my memory is that the prices were at the lower end of what you indicated.

www.ccmmachinery.com also has a pretty extensive selection and prices vary depending on the application. Mark is very knowledgeable and a nice guy to deal with. He should be able to tell you what you need. His prices are very competitive.

Hope this helps
