I have one that came on some part like a shaft that works great. But how about a piece if thin wall tube or hose? Of course the end will be open.

My JD dealer is asking $20 for the cap. I don't mind paying $5 or $10 but $20. The last one I got was for free at my NH dealer. My NH dealer is to far for just for one non-critical part. I guess I'll wait until in need more NH parts and get one there. Thanks for the JD part#.

Checked with local JD dealer. I can still buy for $4.55 out the door. Is that the part number your dealer quoted $20 for?
I could send you one for $10, or as many as you wanted that would fit in a small USPS flat rate box $5.35 postage, $4.55 each PTO boot/cap
